Windows Vista and the 2007 suite of tools from Microsoft, 24th April, 2007

This event is part of a new ‘tools and technologies’ series of free, vendor-sponsored events. Vendors who present at these events commit to providing information that is useful to our community and to avoid making a direct sales pitch. In most cases,  they will use specific software in practical demonstrations.

Topic: “Windows Vista and the 2007 suite of tools from Microsoft”, presented by Richard Campbell of .NET Rocks!
Where: YWCA on Hornby, Welch Room 1
When: 24th April, 2007, 6.30pm to 8.30pm
Cost:  FREE

To ensure that we can accommodate everyone, please email president at stcwestcoast dot ca if you plan to attend.

About the topic
Join Richard Campbell as he takes you on a tour of all the latest hardware and software the tech writer could want. Check out a slate-style TabletPC running Microsoft Vista that allows you to write directly onto the screen or type on the keyboard. You’ll also see Office 2007, including the much-improved Outlook 2007. And finally, spend some time with OneNote 2007. The latest version of OneNote really shows off the potential of collaborative computing.

About the presenter
